We were contacted by a number of polish individuals in the area who struggled with the ever-changing requirements and advice given by the UK Government in connection with the Covid-19 Pandemic. The information available was not translated and not available in polish. Many of them did not know what was allowed and what the restrictions were. The community was worried about breaching the new laws and receiving fines and penalties. Another great concern was the virus itself. We decided to create a community website and translate information and advice given in regards to the outbreak. We created regular articles informing the community about the latest government guidance and run a social media campaign to reach the relevant people. We received thousands of website and social campaigns views every week.
